About the role

  • Cultural Resources Project Manager managing cultural resources projects at Logan Simpson. Involve in archaeology, report production, and team collaboration to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing all phases of cultural resources projects (archaeology and potentially architectural history) including survey, archaeological monitoring, testing and data recovery
  • Interacting with clients and land managers
  • Producing technical reports
  • Preparing scopes of work and cost estimates
  • Meeting project scope, schedule, and budget obligations
  • Conducting quality control/quality assurance reviews of field data and reports
  • Conducting local fieldwork as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Anthropology or a related field
  • 6+ years of cultural resources management (CRM) experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of archaeology experience in the Great Basin or Southwest regions
  • Sufficient experience to be listed on one or more archaeological permits in Utah
  • Knowledge about Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
  • Experience with transportation projects is preferred
  • Knowledge of architectural history documentation protocols in Utah is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and digital literacy skills
  • Be able to work cooperatively in a positive team-oriented setting
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average, as applicable.
