Cultural Resources Project Manager managing cultural resources projects at Logan Simpson. Involve in archaeology, report production, and team collaboration to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
Planning and managing all phases of cultural resources projects (archaeology and potentially architectural history) including survey, archaeological monitoring, testing and data recovery
Interacting with clients and land managers
Producing technical reports
Preparing scopes of work and cost estimates
Meeting project scope, schedule, and budget obligations
Conducting quality control/quality assurance reviews of field data and reports
Conducting local fieldwork as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Anthropology or a related field
6+ years of cultural resources management (CRM) experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience
2+ years of archaeology experience in the Great Basin or Southwest regions
Sufficient experience to be listed on one or more archaeological permits in Utah
Knowledge about Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
Experience with transportation projects is preferred
Knowledge of architectural history documentation protocols in Utah is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and digital literacy skills
Be able to work cooperatively in a positive team-oriented setting
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average, as applicable.
