About the role

  • Support municipal energy providers in implementing heat transition regulations and strategies. Collaborate on renewable energy systems and conduct workshops for member organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Support municipal energy providers in the field of the heat transition
  • Assist with implementation of heat transition regulations (e.g. GEG, WPG, AVBFernwärmeV, FFVAV & WärmeLV)
  • Support assessments of the economic viability of renewable heat supply systems
  • Provide strategic support in the heat pump business area
  • Participate in research projects on the heat transition
  • Plan and facilitate events and working groups
  • Present ASEW services to members

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field, ideally with a focus on energy economics and/or renewable energy
  • Initial practical experience in the energy sector/municipal utilities, especially in heat supply
  • Good understanding of the above topics and strong enthusiasm for them
  • Presentation skills for internal and external events
  • Quick comprehension and ability to work independently
  • Motivated, communicative and committed team player
  • Carefulness and reliability
  • Willingness to travel
