About the role
- Direct project team and assume ownership and responsibility for project delivery, planning, work product, quality control, customer satisfaction and client management
- Lead project planning sessions to outline scope and approach and work on multiple complex projects
- Maintain clear communication with clients and project teams; prepare status updates and share knowledge across the firm
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage/project cost responsibility, forecasting budgets and recommending expenditure
- Provide consulting services and deep subject matter expertise to external clients
- Collaborate closely with peer project managers and partner consulting teams during implementations
- Support integrations with third-party tax products and large ERP/Tax transformation or E-invoice rollouts
- Travel approximately 30% to support client engagements and implementations
Requirements
- 12+ years of Project Management Experience
- 15+ years of overall experience within ERP or Tax or Technology Implementation
- Working experience with Consulting Implementation projects
- Experience in consulting or supporting clients in Middle East, Europe or India (remote or in-person)
- Good understanding of O2C (order to cash) and/or P2P (procure to pay) and Indirect tax business processes
- Experience working for consulting or professional services organizations (Systems Integrators, ERP consulting firms, or Big-4)
- Good communication and coordinating skills
- Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g., ONESOURCE TAX Determination, Taxware, Vertex, Avalara) is highly desired
- Experience with implementation and rollout of large ERP programs and/or Tax transformation and/or E-invoice solution implementation project management is highly desired
- Ability to direct project teams, manage client relationships, and take ownership of project delivery
- Willingness to travel approx. 30% of the time
