About the role
- Project Manager overseeing global projects for SABO, a Greek manufacturing company with international reach. Responsible for project planning, risk management, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review and revise a detailed project plan, including WBS, costs, milestones, time schedules, necessary equipment, raw materials and human resources
- Identify and manage project risks and resolve any issues, to ensure timely project delivery, within scope, quality standards and within budget
- Cooperate internally and conduct regular review meetings, to monitor and report on project progress
- Cooperate with account managers, to manage the relationship with the customer
- Identify training needs and other improvement opportunities and report accordingly
- Coordinate final project review meetings and lessons learnt sessions, to ensure that project experience is transformed to corporate knowledge
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure alignment with SABO PMO governance, methodologies, and reporting standards while collaborating on resource planning, risk management, and portfolio tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Project management certification will be considered an asset
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Experience in a similar position of 5+ years
- Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills and mindset
- Solid commercial understanding
- Availability to travel abroad
