About the role
- Oversee project lifecycles from the close of contract to delivery of materials
- Coordinate schedules with clients and industry partners to ensure top-tier quality for custom architectural metal systems
- Communicate with clients on a day-to-day basis
- Submit and track RFIs, change orders, and review submittals
- Oversee client and engineering coordination, troubleshooting, and developing solutions for field issues
- Manage multiple projects (20-30) concurrently across various products and scales
- Participate in paid onsite training (for remote hires) and monthly team meetings on-site
Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years in project management in commercial façade, architectural projects, ornamental metal, design build, structural steel, or metal fabrication
- Proven track record of effectively coordinating with clients (Installers, GC, Architect, Ownership)
- Experience in Architectural metal design build (preferred)
- Ability to manage project budgets and analyze trends across projects to recommend improvements in estimating
- Understanding of quality control processes
- Ability to review work done by the drafting team who operates in both SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Bluebeam; experience in Builder Trend and project management software is a plus
- Comfortable managing 20-30 projects at a time through their 1-2-year lifespan
- Experience reading architectural drawings in either CAD or SolidWorks
- Estimating experience
- Strong problem-solving, positive attitude, excellent communication, organization and time management skills
