About the role

  • Overall responsibility for managing DSC SVDP Disaster Case Management & subcontractor staff in Maui
  • Supervision of direct case management services to disaster survivors and their families
  • Monitor all contract activities - ensure that staff agencies are in full compliance with contract
  • Provide day-to-day program oversight, supervision, and guidance to staff ensuring performance targets are met
  • Facilitate ability of staff to provide quality services through best practices in disaster case management
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly narrative and programmatic reports as required

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Social Sciences or related field required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Three years managerial experience in the nonprofit human services field mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management and supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and public relations skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be computer literate and able to use a database with proficiency
  • Able to use Office 365
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
