Manage Residential Linear product categories including Wraps, Undercabinet, & Tapelight.
Lead and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned Residential projects ensuring on time, within budget, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Understand customer base, applications, and competitors to develop competitive solutions and generate sales growth.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Manage project expectations and provide timely escalation for product deviations to mitigate quality and/or supply chain risks.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including timely updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to the project plan.
Work with product support, sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, customer service, and sales to support product categories and new product launches.
Present and provide product training for assigned product categories and other Residential categories for support teams, channel partners, and customers.
Lead, inspire, and influence the team to work according to the product development system with phase gates, milestones, and predefined deliverables.
Have a basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques that allows one to lead and challenge the team.
Drive KPI compliance with the team, including but not limited to phase gate compliance and performance tracking of productivity, margins, quality, ship promise compliance, and sales growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field. MBA a plus.
4+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the lighting industry.
Strong communicator and team player.
Strong understanding of product development life cycle.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Knowledge of lighting industry sales channels, key influencers, and primary decision makers. (Preferred)
Direct knowledge of tapelight products, applications, and key competitors. (Preferred)
