Product Manager focused on managing TomTom’s API offerings and enhancing developer experiences. Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver reliable and monetizable APIs for clients.
Responsibilities
Define strategy and roadmap for our direct API offering (across routing, map display, search, geocoding, traffic)
Develop and redesign APIs for AI & agent integrations, optimizing for latency, cost, and safety
Accelerate developer onboarding from documentation to onboarding, tooling, and sample integrations
Partner with commercial teams on API pricing and monetization
Collaborate with our API platform team to specify telemetry, observability, and billing instrumentation, including AI-specific metrics
Requirements
Proven experience managing technical products—ideally APIs or developer platforms
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a software company
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar technical field
Strong technical fluency; able to interpret API specs, latency tradeoffs, and usage telemetry
Excellent track record of collaborating effectively across engineering, legal, product, and commercial teams
Data-driven thinking coupled with deep empathy for the developer persona
Experience designing and scaling usage-based or consumption-based business models
