Research and Discovery: Develop and analyze market data, metrics, and quantitative and qualitative research with users and stakeholders to understand needs and business objectives, with a focus on the consumer journey.
Design: Create prototypes; develop personas, user journeys and empathy maps based on research, considering multiple journeys; and collaborate on the evolution of the Design System by producing navigation flows, prototypes and journey interfaces to test and validate solutions.
Prototyping: Build wireframes and landing pages — mockups and simulations with high-fidelity prototypes using tools focused on interaction and interface design.
Collaboration: As part of the Tech squad, act as the focal point for business areas and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and strategic alignment of initiatives, projects and retail challenges in digital journeys, delivering functional, high-quality products and experiences.
Strategy and Ideation: Contribute to defining the product vision, proposing innovative solutions aligned to strategy, and evaluating technical feasibility with business and development teams.
Documentation: Document the design and research process, including decisions, rationale and outcomes; align with the Tech Product Manager and communicate insights to business areas.
Monitoring and Iteration: Track product performance after launch, using metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in User Interface Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design or related fields.
Proficiency in prototyping and design tools: Figma, Photoshop, Adobe XD, InVision and related applications.
Familiarity with testing and CRO analysis tools: Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, Hotjar, etc.
Strong knowledge of the eCommerce ecosystem (from sales through post-sales).
User research skills and the ability to gather insights to inform design decisions.
Knowledge of data analysis including heatmaps, benchmarking, persona creation, user research and experimentation.
Extensive experience developing navigable low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
Experience running usability tests.
Desirable: basic HTML and CSS, and experience applying qualitative testing methods.
Advantageous: experience with VTEX and web and regression testing for eCommerce flows.
Advantageous: experience on eCommerce projects and/or certification in user-centered design methodologies.
