About the role
- Leading a multi-disciplinary team to develop novel MCM prototypes at Northrop Grumman, impacting global security. Focus on superconducting integrated circuits and technical maturation of advanced architectures.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplinary technical team of engineers and physicists to develop novel MCM prototypes
- Accountable to all program deliverables for any MCM technical maturation work scope
- Collaborate with multiple technical teams across the MDA business area to achieve all relevant goals
- Synthesize high-level technical details, generate content, and present results to both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop system requirements by leading novel trade studies and interfacing with business area systems engineering expertise
- Generate advanced physical models and test plans for technical maturation milestones
- Develop and drive technical schedules and roadmaps
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in STEM related field with 3 years' of relevant technical experience OR Masters’ degree in STEM related field and currently enrolled in a PhD program with a completion date prior to start with 1 year of relevant technical experience OR PhD in STEM related field with 1 year of relevant technical experience
- Experience in some combination of superconducting integrated circuit test, modeling, and design
- Experience generating technical requirements for system applications from early technical maturity demonstrations
- Proficiency writing code in MATLAB and/or Python for low-temperature data acquisition, modeling, or analysis
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance per business requirements
