Prepare, review, and analyze basic legal documents, such as non-disclosure agreements, routine contracts, subcontracts, and settlement agreements in coordination with attorneys and the Contracts and Procurement organizations.
Provide comprehensive assistance for special projects aimed at improving business processes across functional areas.
Assist as needed with strategic transactions, including organizing due diligence materials and managing checklists within databases.
Provide support for litigation, mediation, arbitration, and the resolution of claims, involving contractual and employment matters.
Assist with corporate governance, including maintenance of corporate records and responding to requests for corporate documentation.
Coordinate with other departments, as needed and respond to a variety of inquiries from internal and external sources.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Legal Studies, related field or equivalent experience; paralegal certificate required.
10 years’ experience, preferably in-house or combination of working with basic commercial contracts, general corporate matters, and supporting litigation.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Westlaw.
