About the role
- Paralegal supporting personal injury claims for Chelmsford client within DWF's Casualty team. Managing a varied caseload including bodily injury claims and working collaboratively with legal professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide Paralegal support to our Chelmsford based client as part of the DWF Casualty team
- To action cases in line with the department's and client's service standards and protocols
- To act as a trusted member within the team, taking responsibility and ensuring the case management system is kept up to date with court orders, reviewing confidential records, and liaising with clients
- Dealing with technical aspects of the cases, under the supervision of more senior team members
- Progress cases to a satisfactory and speedy conclusion in accordance with the client requirements
Requirements
- Experience working in a legal environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with case management systems.
- A client-focused approach and a strong team player mentality.
- A law degree, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification (desirable)
- Prior experience handling or assisting on litigated cases (desirable)
- Experience working within motor injury and/or knowledge of personal injury claims processes and procedures (desirable)
