Paralegal supporting personal injury claims for Chelmsford client within DWF's Casualty team. Managing a varied caseload including bodily injury claims and working collaboratively with legal professionals.
Responsibilities
Provide Paralegal support to our Chelmsford based client as part of the DWF Casualty team
To action cases in line with the department's and client's service standards and protocols
To act as a trusted member within the team, taking responsibility and ensuring the case management system is kept up to date with court orders, reviewing confidential records, and liaising with clients
Dealing with technical aspects of the cases, under the supervision of more senior team members
Progress cases to a satisfactory and speedy conclusion in accordance with the client requirements
Requirements
Experience working in a legal environment
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with case management systems.
A client-focused approach and a strong team player mentality.
A law degree, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification (desirable)
Prior experience handling or assisting on litigated cases (desirable)
Experience working within motor injury and/or knowledge of personal injury claims processes and procedures (desirable)
