Responsibilities
Prepare and process draft legal documents across bank customers, corporate secretarial, subsidiaries, business committees, regulators and outside counsel engagements.
Conduct preliminary reviews of briefs, motions, contracts, legal opinions, court filings and fund documentation, and perform fact-finding and legal/regulatory research under guidance.
Compile information from various bank sources to draft responses, maintain electronic documents, template databases and internal knowledge repositories.
Proactively engage with global legal teams to standardize templates, drive seamless contract or regulatory implementation and support outside-counsel engagements.
Leverage bank technology tools (including AI) to automate and enhance legal workflows.
Manage the Luxembourg Legal group tasks—allocating matters, escalating urgent issues—and progressively take on complex tasks and client-interface responsibilities (onboarding, credit, risk and compliance).
Requirements
Relevant legal qualification or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of legal principles and research.
Experience in financial services and familiarity with UK/European regulatory frameworks.
Fluent in English and French; proficiency in German or another European language is an asset.
Experience in leveraging technology tools (such as AI) for the automation of legal tasks will be an asset.
