Manage internal suite of new and existing packaging files, and execute changes or file updates on existing packages.
Coordinate with design agency for new package graphics and concept renderings.
Work with packaging vendors to bring new packages to life, including color proofing, on-site press checks, and file review proofing process.
Partner with Sr. Innovation Manager, finance, and operations to vet opportunities and understand business impact and resource requirements.
Support sales team with new package image requests, mockup sample requests, and sell-in needs.
Maintain and update an executive summary weekly to roll up progress, challenges, and decisions for Exec Team alignment.
Proactively seek packaging improvements with ops packaging engineer to improve margin, environmental impact, speed-to-market, and quality.
Manage project timelines, workback schedules, and multiple concurrent packaging initiatives from greenlight to shelf.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required – in Marketing or Business preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience with consumer-packaged goods required.
At least 1 year of Print production experience (especially in packaging) is a huge plus.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to identify and collaborate cross-functionally internally and with customers as needed.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to travel on an as-needed basis to press checks and can pilots.
Availability and willingness to work outside of normal office hours as needed.
Multi-tasker who can take the lead and juggle multiple projects at once.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 and is dependent upon the candidate’s experience prior to joining Spindrift.
