About the role

  • Represent clients in contested probate matters, including but not limited to will contests, trust disputes, estate administration issues, and guardianship disputes
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on complex contested probate matters
  • Collaborate closely with the firm's attorneys and paralegals to develop and implement effective strategies in handling contested probate cases
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in probate law, regulations, and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in probate and estate litigation, with a focus on contested probate matters.
  • Someone who is compassionate, as elder law is sensitive work.
  • Someone who truly enjoys talking with and helping people.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar and in good standing
