Responsibilities
- support Nuclear Customers in the Greater St. Louis, MO Region
- function as seconded Project Manager on multiple concurrent projects
- schedule, organize, and direct others in project completion
- prepare, or supervise the preparation of project schedules and cost estimates
- regularly utilize client proprietary software packages
- supervise, manage, and direct engineering resources
- act as main point of contact for designated client projects
- provide regular project updates
- complete all tasks according to project execution procedures and guidelines
- manage contracts for procurement, services, and evaluate change orders and scope deviation
- manage and direct the installation through stakeholder coordination
- communicate frequently with clients on cost-effective solutions
- provide timely and detailed documentation to ensure projects are on budget and schedule
Requirements
- a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management in the electric power utility industry projects
- successful experience in leadership roles managing engineering and design teams in a consulting engineering environment
- digital / I&C system upgrade experience within the nuclear power industry
- superior communication and interpersonal skills
- project management experience including an understanding and use of project management and project control principles and tools
- thorough understanding and aptitude in the use of current computer software including general office products, design, and business enterprise software
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline is preferred
- project management training and/or PMP certification a plus
- ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations
