About the role
- Assistant Project Manager responsible for managing electrical construction projects including staff oversight and vendor coordination. Ensuring project profitability and timely completion per customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide general management for electrical construction projects
- Oversee staff and coordinate with vendors to obtain materials for construction projects
- Conduct employee performance reviews and maintain employee relations
- Ensure that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings to review job progress and supports safe behavior
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, or a related field
- Experience with electrical construction projects and understanding of electrical components and applications is preferred
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable
- Travel: 15-20%
