About the role
- Network Security Engineer tasked with designing and implementing network security solutions for clients. Supporting adoption of new technologies and ensuring operational success through expert troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Performance Technologies security services for clients, including installation, testing, maintenance, and design of security solutions.
- Apply in-depth understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, VLANs, load balancing, SD-WAN.
- Document all new installations, troubleshooting processes, and resolutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Provide support to both existing and new clients, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Transfer knowledge effectively to clients to ensure sustained operational success.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in network and security engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Network or Network Security Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Network Virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of Web services, authentication services, TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols.
- Expertise in network security systems: Firewalls, SASE, IDS/IPS, WAF. Hands-on experience with Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco or Fortinet firewalls required.
- Familiarity with Load Balancer solutions and Email Security solutions will be a plus.
- Exposure to Cloud infrastructure services (Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as Cisco (CCNA, CCNA Security), Check Point (CCSA, CCSE), HPE/Aruba (ACSA, ACSP), Fortinet (FCA, FCP), Juniper, VMware (VCA, VCP), and Azure/AWS networking certifications will be highly valued.
