About the role

  • Network Engineer supporting government client’s security operations mission through network and systems administration. Deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure for key projects.

Responsibilities

  • support the government client’s security operations mission
  • perform the deployment, operation, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems, software, and infrastructure that enable enterprise cybersecurity capabilities
  • operate, maintain, and administer existing network and systems architectures
  • support a broad range of technical environments and responsibilities

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with IT network administration
  • managing and supporting network infrastructure such as firewalls, routers, switches, LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
  • experience in RADIUS, TACACS+, and 802.1x utilizing Cisco Identity Services Engine
  • scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
  • cloud security technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in a CS or Information Systems field
  • Cisco Certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Certification
