About the role

Responsibilities
- Create original and creative animations across our shows
- Quickly execute visually engaging animations that elevate our videos
- Identify and create relevant graphics such as graphs, maps, and text elements
- Collaborate with the larger news team on pre-production, production, and post-production workflows
Requirements
- Knowledge of After Effects and a passion for animation
- Strong skills in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Proficiency in Illustrator and other Adobe software is a plus
- Ability to quickly storyboard from scripts into videos that will be shared across platforms
- Experience shooting with Canon, Panasonic, and Sony cameras is a plus
- Experience video editing in Adobe Premiere is a plus
- Familiarity with digital and social media
