About the role
- Ensure the quality of critical software solutions by performing manual tests to ensure products meet client requirements.
- Plan and execute manual tests based on functional and technical requirements
- Write test cases using TDD and BDD approaches
- Generate test data
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts and evidence
- Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban), contributing to the development team
- Log and track defects found in the software, follow up and validate fixes
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes
- Act as a reviewer during system validation with the client at the factory and on-site
- Execute system integration tests, internal qualification tests, and factory and field acceptance tests
- Analyze test results and evaluate identified issues
- Prepare status reports
- Review system documentation
- Perform a wide variety of tests and quality control analyses to ensure the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user needs.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the software testing lifecycle
- Testing methodologies and processes
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestLink)
- Test planning (writing test cases and preparing documentation)
- Linux (basic knowledge)
- SQL commands (basic knowledge)
- Software deployment
- Collection and analysis of information
- Interest in continuous learning and in-depth understanding of business rules
- Knowledge of test automation tools (Robot Framework, Selenium, Capybara, etc.)
