About the role

  • Sales Director leading sales and brand partnerships for a dynamic marketplace in Southeast Asia. Offering innovative solutions for clients and managing agency relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your existing customer network to pitch and close innovative customer solutions from Supermom’s array of products for insights, brand building, content marketing, and demand generation
  • Thorough understanding of digital media and content marketing landscape including video, mobile, social, display, programmatic and experiential
  • Proven sales track record in selling digital and custom content
  • Results-oriented and self-driven
  • Ability to conceptualize and deliver creative integrated solutions
  • Have a "phone-first" mentality with a "wait for no-one" approach
  • Wants to ASK for action of others and understands deadlines
  • Able to lead a team of salespersons to achieve sales targets and 2x deal sizes
  • Translate delivery expertise into clear, client-focused sales and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to transform back-end performance insights into persuasive pre-sales content and sales presentations.
  • Support commercial leads during deal initiation to deepen understanding of sales cycles, and agency negotiations.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new revenue streams across diverse brand categories and portfolios.
  • Develop and pitch integrated cross-platform proposals combining editorial, branded content, and media solutions.
  • Own and manage the sales pipeline, driving proposals from inception to close in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers in agencies and brand marketing teams.
  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industry events, and commercial forums.
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor, delivering insightful solutions that address client business challenges.
  • Lead management and reporting of sales targets, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
  • Leverage experience with campaign and sales reporting tools to enhance measurement and communication of sales results.
  • Engage in ongoing sales enablement training, including consultative selling, negotiation, and CRM proficiency.
  • Mentor and develop junior sales and commercial coordinators transitioning into client-facing roles.

Requirements

  • At least 6-8+ years of sales experience
  • Proven track record in identifying new and innovative opportunities and closing deals with a solution-based approach for clients, agencies and partners
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising is a bonus
  • Have exceptional communication skills and an ability to build excellent rapport with strategic decisions makers
  • Good understanding of how to run and measure performance with relevant KPIs
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with using CRM platform such as Salesforce or Infusionsoft is a bonus
