About the role

  • Apply technical expertise to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions
  • Support refurbishment activities and resolve configuration and design challenges
  • Ensure technical outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Conduct technical investigations and configuration control surveys
  • Support set-to-work, testing, and trials
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation
  • Influence product performance, reliability, and safety across critical programs

Requirements

  • Good understanding of design, analysis, manufacturing, and support techniques throughout the engineering product lifecycle
  • Knowledge of engineering reports / technical writing in an engineering environment
  • Satisfactory understanding of Product Safety and Quality Processes
  • Awareness of principles of technical risk management
  • Awareness of Configuration Management Processes
  • Awareness of engineering Change Management Process
  • Satisfactory understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software)
