Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Analog and digital circuit design for precision instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, SMUs, DMMs, waveform generators).
- Experience with low-noise, high-accuracy measurement systems, including signal conditioning and filtering.
- Understanding of measurement accuracy, error budgets, and calibration techniques.
- Familiarity with A/D and D/A converters, low-current and low-voltage design, and power supply regulation.
- Knowledge of transmission line theory, impedance matching, and high-speed signal integrity.
- Experience designing hardware for test and measurement instruments used in R&D, manufacturing, and diagnostics.
- Understanding of system-level architecture, including timing, synchronization, and communication protocols (e.g., USB, Ethernet, GPIB, LXI).
- Ability to define and optimize block diagrams, signal paths, and measurement performance.
- Ability to interface with embedded software, instrument drivers, and automation frameworks.
- Programming experience in C/C++, Python, or Lua for hardware control and test automation.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and scripting for data acquisition and analysis.
