Responsibilities
Technical responsibility for refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems in shipbuilding
Development of technical concepts and preparation of specifications for the approval and procurement processes
System design and calculations
Definition, coordination and management of interfaces with suppliers
Evaluation of bids and preparation of recommendations for decision-making regarding technical risks and cost considerations
Review and assessment of suppliers' design documentation
Creation and/or review of schematic piping diagrams based on construction specifications and classification society regulations
Preparation and/or review of 3D models in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology
Technical coordination with customers and system suppliers
Collaboration with other design departments and production
Requirements
Completed technical or scientific degree or technician qualification (m/f/d)
Professional experience in the field and experience with integration in shipbuilding desirable
Confident knowledge of regulations and standards, preferably classification society rules and SOLAS
Proficient user of the CAD program AutoCAD and good MS Office skills
Good written and spoken English, particularly for technical topics
Confident demeanour, ability to work independently, assertiveness, and strong communication and team skills
