About the role

  • Senior Mitel Engineer developing and supporting collaboration services for consulting clients at Heartland Business Systems. Leading technical implementation and client relationship management with a focus on Mitel solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and support collaboration services and solutions for consulting clients
  • Build a customer-focused relationship with client to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements
  • Work as a member of the HBS Mitel team as a leader and contributor that provides consultative and proactive project support
  • Collaborate and be a leader across multiple internal teams to ensure successful delivery and timely scope of work
  • Research new products for selection, enhance configuration standards, and educate team members
  • Provide senior level support, maintenance, and administration for customer networks
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of past projects
  • Create and maintain current vendor/industry specific certifications and stay current on new products

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a technical related field
  • 3-5 years in a technical related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a consultant
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Installing and supporting Mitel solutions MiVoice Office 250, MiVoice Business, or MiVoice Connect
  • Certification in one of the above Mitel UC platforms
  • Strong VoIP troubleshooting skills
  • Experience deploying VoIP Protocols – SIP, QoS, G711/G729
