About the role
- Engineer in Building Mechanics design working with multidisciplinary teams in hybrid work setup. Collaborating on innovative engineering projects requiring technical expertise and quality control measures.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical plans and specifications (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, controls, etc.) in collaboration with our multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct on-site technical surveys to contribute to innovative engineering projects
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and datasheets while adhering to quality and performance standards
- Provide cost estimates for mechanical work
- Coordinate and work closely with architects and the design team to ensure harmonious project integration and deliver tailored solutions to our clients
- Contribute to the preparation of studies and reports, ensuring quality control of deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of one year of experience in building mechanical systems design (asset/preferred)
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
- Certificate from ASP Construction for the General Health and Safety on Construction Sites course
- Good command of French, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (asset/preferred)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Effective time and priority management while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Autonomy, rigor, team spirit, and attention to detail
- Proven reputation for rigor and integrity.
