Responsibilities
Participate in the entire product development process: Actively support us from the initial idea/sketch through concept phases to preparation for serial production.
Concept and design work: Develop ideas, compare alternatives and prepare design directions.
Graphic design tasks: Create layouts, presentations, product graphics/branding elements and supporting visuals.
Materials and component research: Search for suitable fabrics and coatings, evaluate samples and help develop sustainable options with us.
Color & Trim development: Dive into color palettes, combinations and detail work and translate these into coherent proposals.
Creating functional prototypes: Build functional samples to test construction, handling and details.
Requirements
You are enrolled in a Product Design program or a comparable course of study and are looking for a mandatory 6-month internship.
Interest in materials, manufacturing and details (e.g. fabrics, coatings, trims), including enthusiasm for research, sampling and comparisons.
Basic knowledge of Adobe (esp. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for creating concepts, graphics and documentation.
Ideally you have some experience with 3D tools (e.g. Rhino) and a basic understanding of shapes, proportions and construction.
Hands-on mentality: You enjoy practical work, experimenting and supporting prototypes/functional models.
