Execute value engineering projects to reduce cost, improve manufacturability, and enhance product performance.
Complete understanding of the relevant scientific and technical principles, standards, and concepts, as well as extensive experience in their application.
Manage engineering change requests (ECR) and change notices (ECN) in close coordination with production, supply chain, sales, and aftermarket teams.
Provide CAD support for design modifications, legacy product conversions, and documentation updates.
Collaborate with suppliers, production, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical queries and ensure material/design compliance.
Creation of articles and assemblies, as well as triggering purchase requisitions.
Design and calculation of mechanical/electromechanical components, assemblies, UV reactors/ozone components, devices, and laboratory equipment in accordance with the processes and implementation according to the specifications.
Conduct technical risk analysis and FMEA for design validation.
Support NPD initiatives with design validation, prototyping, and transition to manufacturing.
Drive product maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with international standards and evolving customer needs.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Independently manage assigned tasks, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion.
Requirements
4-Year bachelor’s degree / 4 + 2-Year master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
5+ years of progressive experience in the relevant field.
Deep expertise in water and wastewater disinfection treatment technologies and products, with awareness of emerging trends and innovations.
Proficiency in at least one CAD platform: PTC Creo preferred; SolidWorks/Inventor welcome.
Strong knowledge of international standards and industry codes in mechanical design.
Hands-on manufacturing experience and/or background in OEM industries.
Experience in product lifecycle management, sustain engineering, and value engineering.
Solid understanding of mechanical system design, application, and manufacturing.
Knowledge of pressure vessel design principles and standards such as ASME.
Proven track record of handling engineering change management (ECR/ECN).
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
High level of self-organization.
