Responsibilities
Reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager and works directly within the communications team and global marketing and communications team
Based in Phoenix, Denver, or Chicago office and collaborates across functions and teams firmwide
Uploads attorney biographies to the firm website and makes edits and additions as needed in the content management system
Writes and reviews attorney biographies; updates and reviews content as needed
Uploads articles, news, press releases, and publications to the website, proposal system, PRWeb, and other platforms
Creates and edits website pages in the content management system
Gathers and compiles content for a weekly newsletter from a variety of sources, including press releases and submissions
Uploads and edits content to the firm’s proposal/content system, including the experience database
Reviews, edits, and updates marketing collateral
Maintains databases, assists with tracking, and pulls reports as needed related to media and content
Assists with other projects as assigned and supports other tasks as needed
Requirements

Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, able to communicate effectively with attorneys and professionals at all levels

Familiarity with AP Style and strong understanding of English grammar and style
Bachelor’s degree required; major in journalism, public relations, English, communications, or related field preferred
Two to four years of relevant experience in a marketing/communications role at a law firm, professional services firm or within a regulated industry
Experience at a law firm or professional services firm is strongly preferred
Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
Knowledge and experience in a website content management system (preference for Sitecore)
Knowledge and experience in newsletter software (preference for Concep)
