About the role

  • As a Managing Consultant, you will handle retirement plan compliance and client interactions. The role involves strong analytical skills and retirement industry expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client requests, problem resolution, and retirement plan changes.
  • Establish excellent working relationships within the organization to achieve common objectives.
  • Consult with plan sponsors on plan design, compliance, and corrections.
  • Perform IRS/DOL audit support for plans under audit.
  • Handle inquiries related to plan compliance, corrections, and plan documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years related experience in the retirement industry.
  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • High level of initiative and able to work independently to achieve objectives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong experience in Excel.
  • In depth understanding of retirement plans with a current CPC, QPA or QKA ASPPA designation.
  • Experience with IRS EPCRS correction program is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of DOL and IRS regulations for retirement plans.
