About the role

  • Manager of PM Credit Development leading credit training within the Commercial Portfolio Management Team at SouthState. Focused on developing SSB Commercial Credit Curriculum and managing a PM Training Program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and execute SSB’s credit training within the Commercial Portfolio Management Team
  • Develop SSB Commercial Credit Curriculum
  • Lead a PM Training Program
  • Support SSB’s Corporate Stewardship and CPA Program with high level Credit Training

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree required (preferred: business or finance)
  • 15+ year experience in Commercial Credit Underwriting and/or Approval
  • Underwriting Experience required, approval experience preferred
  • 7+ years management/leadership experience required
  • Completion of formal Credit Training Program preferred
  • CRC (RMA) certification preferred
