Responsibilities
Ensure guests have an exceptional product experience across all locations.
Deliver smart category strategies, efficient processes, and high-performing programs.
Own the full lifecycle of all merchandise categories, including assortment strategy, product selection, pricing, and category growth planning.
Analyze category performance, market trends, competition, and guest behavior to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
Create and maintain standardized, scalable processes for product programs.
Partner with Operations to ensure programs are simple, clear, and operationally feasible.
Lead the strategy for category promotions, deals, and margin-driving programs.
Ensure planograms reflect assortment strategies and operational practicality.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two Category Managers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
5+ years of merchandising, category management, or retail buying experience.
Experience in convenience retail, truck stops, travel centers, or high-SKU retail strongly preferred.
Prior experience leading teams or cross-functional projects.
