About the role
- Manager of Major Projects leading all aspects of pipeline loops and crossings for Enbridge’s major projects. Overseeing project activities, team management, and regulatory compliance in a competitive environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of pipeline loops and crossings for major projects
- Provide overall management and strategic oversight for planning and performing project activities on capital projects
- Oversee a technical and non-technical team responsible for developing recommendations for critical business decisions
- Represent the enterprise externally, e.g., at regulatory hearings and make commitments on project execution matters
- Ensure project scope, schedule, cost, and risks are optimally supervised and controlled
- Mentor and motivate a team or teams of staff, contractors and internal partners
Requirements
- Engineering degree, diploma, technical certification or combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 8 years progressively responsible experience in delivering large-diameter liquid or gas pipelines in a complex terrain
- 5 years leadership experience respectively is preferred
- Experience in a leadership position managing small to moderately sized projects involving internal and external partners in greenfield pipeline operations
- Experience in managing multi-spread programs in BC is an asset
- Valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire
