Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of compressor, meter stations, brownfield tie-ins, and associated power line scopes
- Ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery while fulfilling regulatory, environmental, and Indigenous obligations
- Provide overall management and strategic oversight for planning and performing project activities on capital projects
- Oversee a technical and non-technical team responsible for developing recommendations that provide the basis for making critical business decisions
- Represent the enterprise externally, e.g., at regulatory hearings and make commitments on project execution matters
- Ensure project scope, schedule, cost, and risks are optimally supervised and controlled
- Mentor and motivate a team or teams of staff, contractors, and internal partners in the fulfillment of responsibilities
Requirements
- Engineering degree, diploma, technical certification or combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 8 years progressively responsible experience in major projects in oil and gas facilities including compression stations
- Experience in a leadership position managing small to moderately sized projects involving internal and external partners in greenfield pipeline operations
- Experience in managing BC projects, power line interconnection, brownfield outages, and multisite programs
- Effective leadership skills which include, cultivating a collaborative, hard-working team-focused approach and inspire change in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire
