Responsibilities
The Manager of Second Shift Item Processing leads a team responsible for the day-to-day activities of second shift check processing operations.
The primary duties of second shift operations are POD Deposits and Share Draft returns processing.
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment that has several competing daily deadlines.
This person will work closely with cross functional departments including Information Technology, Management, Supervisors, Customer Account Reps, and other key personnel to provide value added service to Catalyst customers.
This position must address all customer concerns, both internal and external in an expedient manner.
This is a leadership position which requires a high-level understanding of check processing systems, regulations, workflow, and software, to make judgements and coordinate activities of the business unit.
This position also requires identification, collection, and measurement of key statistical data to effectively forecast and manage in this evolving environment.
Good communication skills are vital to interact with other departments, vendors, and/or customers on a regular basis.
This position must be able to make recommendations concerning critical decisions in pressing situations while considering the overall impact to other areas and members.
This position is time sensitive, and goal oriented for detail minded individuals.
Requirements
Leadership experience – 3 or more years
Knowledge of Item Processing Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Intermediate Windows PC knowledge and troubleshooting experience
Analytical skills
10 Key by touch & typing
Preferred Requirements: Item Processing experience – 2 or more years
Credit Union branch operations experience – 2 or more years
Payments systems knowledge
Salesforce knowledge
NCP Certification
