About the role

  • Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects in the lending domain, including: Optimizing loan origination and servicing processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Streamlining credit assessment and approval workflows to improve operational outcomes and align with best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with EBA Guidelines on Loan Origination and Monitoring (EBA GL/2020/06), integrating robust governance, risk assessment, and creditworthiness principles into lending processes.
  • Incorporating ESG considerations into lending strategies to meet sustainability goals, align with regulatory expectations, and drive competitive advantage.
  • Enhancing credit pricing frameworks, ensuring they reflect risk-adjusted returns, regulatory compliance, and the integration of ESG factors.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze lending-related business needs, translating them into detailed requirements and functional specifications.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for enhancing lending platforms, processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise in lending to guide decision-making and drive success.
  • Contribute to NORRIQ’s thought leadership in lending by conducting market research, developing proposals, and supporting business development activities.
  • Share knowledge within the team through training and coaching sessions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Lending Expert, or Credit Analyst within the financial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of lending processes, systems (e.g., loan origination and servicing), and credit risk management.
  • Proven ability to manage and engage diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment between lending business needs, technical solutions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and system optimization within the lending domain.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in working within cross-functional teams.
  • Languages English and Dutch or French (with at least a passive knowledge of the other language).
