About the role
- Banking Transformation Consultant delivering strategic solutions in the lending domain for NORRIQ Financial Services. Engaging with clients and driving transformation projects with regulatory compliance in focus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects in the lending domain, including: Optimizing loan origination and servicing processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Streamlining credit assessment and approval workflows to improve operational outcomes and align with best practices.
- Ensuring compliance with EBA Guidelines on Loan Origination and Monitoring (EBA GL/2020/06), integrating robust governance, risk assessment, and creditworthiness principles into lending processes.
- Incorporating ESG considerations into lending strategies to meet sustainability goals, align with regulatory expectations, and drive competitive advantage.
- Enhancing credit pricing frameworks, ensuring they reflect risk-adjusted returns, regulatory compliance, and the integration of ESG factors.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze lending-related business needs, translating them into detailed requirements and functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for enhancing lending platforms, processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise in lending to guide decision-making and drive success.
- Contribute to NORRIQ’s thought leadership in lending by conducting market research, developing proposals, and supporting business development activities.
- Share knowledge within the team through training and coaching sessions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Lending Expert, or Credit Analyst within the financial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of lending processes, systems (e.g., loan origination and servicing), and credit risk management.
- Proven ability to manage and engage diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment between lending business needs, technical solutions, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and system optimization within the lending domain.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in working within cross-functional teams.
- Languages English and Dutch or French (with at least a passive knowledge of the other language).
