About the role
- MES Consultant collaborating with local and international teams in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. Supporting the implementation of industrial IT solutions and production management systems.
Responsibilities
- Learn customers' manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences sectors
- Participate in various phases of an MES project and support the team in designing, developing, installing, deploying and commissioning industrial IT solutions at customer sites
- Contribute to the implementation of technologies for digitalization and IT/OT and assist with the installation and qualification of pharmaceutical equipment and computer systems in accordance with GxP and GAMP5
- Support production processes by applying relevant industrial standards (ISA95, OPC UA, etc.)
- Support the implementation of production management systems (MES/MOM) for our clients and their integration with ERP systems (L4) or shop-floor systems (L2)
Requirements
- Solid experience in the OT environment (MES) within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences industries
- Experience configuring and administering MES systems or historian systems (e.g., PI)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in writing technical documentation and delivering presentations
- A team player who enjoys working in a dynamic project environment and has experience in software engineering and/or production-related IT solutions
- Willingness to travel for client visits
