About the role
- Assistente de Legalização overseeing the legal registration of companies. Supporting clients with documentation and compliance in a hybrid work setup.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the preparation, regularization, and registration of companies with state commercial registries (Juntas Comerciais), notary offices (Cartórios), and the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Draft articles of association, amendments, corporate minutes, and termination agreements (distratos)
- Perform regularization procedures with the Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal), State Finance Secretariat (SEFAZ), municipal governments (Prefeituras), and Registry Offices for Legal Entities (Cartórios de Registro de Pessoas Jurídicas)
- Provide support to clients and assist with other duties relevant to the role
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (in progress or completed)
- Knowledge of legislation and legal procedures
- Familiarity with the REDESIM system
- Previous experience in an accounting firm is a plus
