About the role
- Legal Counsel advising on operations of renewable energy and storage facilities in Germany. Involves contract management, liability assessment, and project collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and contract templates, primarily in the areas of service, works, construction and general contract law.
- Ongoing legal advice to Asset Operations units regarding the technical and commercial operations management of renewable energy facilities and battery/storage systems domestically and internationally.
- Review of liability issues and legal support for claims management.
- Further development of solutions for innovation topics such as battery/storage systems.
- Handling complex, group-wide and interdisciplinary projects at home and abroad.
- Management of domestic and international external advisors as well as internal technical coordination.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the First and Second State Examinations (German legal exams) — above-average results desirable
- At least two years of professional experience in contract law in the area of commercial and technical operations management, ideally in the renewable energy sector
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and demonstrate initiative in handling tasks
- Flexibility and an efficient working style
- Fluent German and English (negotiation-level)
- Understanding of economic contexts and entrepreneurial thinking
