  • Systems Engineer supporting simulation and training environments in the Air Force. Improving cybersecurity and standardization, leveraging modular open systems architecture.

Responsibilities

  • support the Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards (SCARS) Team
  • improve cybersecurity and promote greater standardization of simulator components
  • transform operational challenges into effective technical solutions
  • drive innovation and advance mission capabilities

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training environments
  • Experience in applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Knowledge of High-Level Architecture, Distributed Interactive Simulation, and Open Mission Systems standards
  • Ability to architect, integrate, and manage complex systems across distributed simulation environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science Field
  • IAT Level II Certification
  • Secret clearance
