About the role
- Lead the design, development and in-service support activity for a component, module or engine test
- Manage the project on schedule, on budget, and in compliance with all technical requirements
- Coordinate a team of approximately 10 engineers
- Act as cost account manager for assigned scope, with budget responsibilities
- Establish and foster strong customer relationships
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 8+ years’ engineering experience in design, development, and/or test of complex mechanical systems
- Prior experience leading gas turbine engine design and development activities
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Program/Project Management experience
- Strong cost account management skills
- Ability to build constructive working relationships with internal customers and suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to accomplish technical objectives under strict schedule constraints
