Responsibilities
You conduct feasibility studies and set up experiments in our lab to design and test camera systems
You independently develop applications in the field of industrial image processing on PC-based and smart camera systems to solve optical inspection and identification tasks
You manage application-specific projects professionally and on schedule, including installation and commissioning at the customer's site
You create project-specific documentation
You provide service and maintenance for already installed applications/systems
You occasionally develop simple robot programs for camera and part handling (preferably after thorough prior training)
Requirements
Completed technical training with professional experience (e.g., as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, or IT specialist) and/or further training as a technician in automation or electrical engineering, or a completed technical degree (automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar)
Ideally, prior experience in industrial image processing (robotics not mandatory)
Ideally, prior experience in an industrial automation environment
Enjoy learning new things and a willingness to develop professionally
Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
Good English language skills
Valid driver's license
Willingness to travel for short assignments within Germany and elsewhere in Europe
