About the role

• Lead Middle Office Analyst role focusing on enhancing operations for asset management at EY GDS Poland. Collaborate with tech and business teams to optimize processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within our asset management, risk management, and performance measurement operations.
• Analyse, design and implement enhancements that drive operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with various stakeholders, including operations, compliance, and IT teams, to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and facilitate the successful implementation and/or transfer of system enhancements.
• Optimize workflows and ensure seamless integration across systems using expertise in middle-office platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River, SS&C Advent Geneva, Bloomberg PORT or SimCorp Dimension.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in middle office operations within the asset management industry or within asset management audit, or related branches.
• Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and extract requirements as per specifications.
• Ideally, you’ll also have Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements in the asset management sector.
• A willingness to embrace change and adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Previous experience as a business analyst will be a major asset.
