About the role
- Lead studies and projects ranging from conceptual to detailed engineering and operation support
- Manage key projects and project teams of flow assurance and process specialists
- Supervise senior flow assurance / process consultants and provide technical leadership to clients and project teams
- Act as primary point of contact with senior clients and specialists and represent the client at technical meetings
- Assist the Regional Manager in developing project proposals, bids and tender documents and support business development
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with the company quality management system and that project objectives are achieved
- Provide guidance, mentoring and coaching for junior staff and deliver effective presentations internally and to clients
- Support energy transition projects including CO2 and H2 transport and enabling asset optimisation
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive experience in a relative field; advanced degree focusing in multiphase flow / fluid dynamics / heat transfer / applied mathematics desirable but not required
- Considerable previous flow assurance and process experience in the Oil and Gas industry with an excellent technical background
- A proven track record in management of process and flow assurance studies
- Proven experience in coaching the junior flow assurance and process engineers
- Good experience with major flow assurance software packages e.g. OLGA, Pipesim, Multi flash, Leda Flow
- Good appreciation of process engineering, and simulation using Hysys and/or Unisim
- Good knowledge of HAZOP, process safety and risk assessment
- Local market knowledge would be seen as an advantage (desirable)
