Responsibilities
- Perform bridge related computations and analysis
- Support the preparation of design plans, cost estimates and special provisions
- Collect data, gather information, produce documents and reports
- Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members
- Develop memorandums and other written technical documents
- Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, professionals, and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, local, and privately funded improvement and development projects
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant post education experience
- Ohio Professional Engineering License (or ability to apply within 1 yr)
- Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have the ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
