About the role

• Join AICORN as a Full-Stack Developer focusing on embedded systems and cloud solutions for smart mobility. Be part of a dynamic team transforming the railway sector with innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle integration & Embedded Linux – You develop software components for embedded platforms (Linux-based) for data acquisition, processing and forwarding.
• Backend & Data Processing – You design the processing, storage and visualization of count data in the backend (e.g., for statistics, diagnostics, and operational KPIs).
• Interfaces & Standards – You implement and test interfaces according to various standards, including MQTT and other common protocols.
• Software Testing & Quality – You ensure stability and maintainability through automated tests, debugging and version control (e.g., Git, CI/CD).
• Close Collaboration – You work closely with hardware engineers, project managers and external partners — from the sensor to the cloud.

Requirements

• Curiosity & Willingness to Learn – You want to understand how a system truly works — from the sensor data stream to the final analysis in the web frontend.
• Development Aptitude – You have experience or a strong interest in Embedded Linux, database connectivity and full‑stack technologies (e.g., MQTT, Flask, Node.js).
• Hands‑on Mentality – You turn ideas into code and solve challenges pragmatically.
• Teamwork & Responsibility – You enjoy working in a team, take responsibility and actively contribute to our growing company.
• Bonus (not required) – Experience with Docker, REST APIs, vehicle/transport protocols, or ISO/EN standards in the railway context.
