About the role

  • Sales Engineer Junior at Vanderlande Logistics developing solutions for baggage and cargo handling in Portugal. Engaging with international customers and optimizing logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business opportunities and implement the commercial strategy
  • Manage and retain international internal customers
  • Conduct business analysis; prospect, generate, qualify, and follow up on assigned leads
  • Identify customer needs and design appropriate solutions
  • Manage equipment supply processes to customers
  • Prepare technical documentation and monitor contracts
  • Manage and coordinate records of proposals sent to customers using corporate tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering — Mechanical preferred
  • 1–2 years’ experience in similar roles
  • Fluent in English
  • German language skills are a plus
  • Customer-service oriented: works well with internal and external customers, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Team player with flexibility to work across different teams
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
