About the role
- Junior RTR Accountant supporting month-end close processes and liaising with internal finance teams at Fortum. Develop professional skills in a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Effectively support month end close processes under supervision of senior colleagues and team leader
- Posting manual journals
- Oversee processes related to master data management
- Record and review accounting entries according to Fortum requirements and procedures accurately and within deadlines
- Complete year-end closing processes and reports
- Support more experienced team members with all processes in scope
- Liaise with multiple internal finance teams and clients
- Ensure completeness and accuracy and timeliness process delivery
- Maintain desktop procedures up-to-date to ensure compliance with process changes, current legislation and company policy
- Participate actively in any meetings, trainings and projects initiatives
- Develop your professional skills and knowledge towards becoming a champion/expert in particular areas
- Build trust and understanding through communication, inclusion, and transparency within RTR team and with other internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree - preferably in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in Fixed Asset area will be an asset
