About the role
- Junior Product Designer at OAK’S LAB, focusing on design of digital products and websites. Collaborating closely with product and tech teams to enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design digital products, websites and brands from discovery to delivery
- Closely collaborate and drive product decisions alongside Tech Lead and Product Manager
- Conduct user testing to understand your users' goals and validate your proposals
- Craft a beautiful visual direction and translate it consistently through the project
- Ensure adherence to UX/UI standards, elements, patterns, and specifications
- Develop consistent design systems and contribute to the project documentation alongside PMs
- Manage your design delivery based on project plan & milestones
- Explore new approaches, AI technologies and always be ready to learn
Requirements
- 1+ years of design experience or design focused school
- A portfolio that demonstrates your eye for design and taste for aesthetics while showcasing the outcomes of your design solutions by applying UX/UI patterns & principles
- Interest in visual design, user experience and ideally also branding
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills to present and effectively advocate for your ideas
- At least basic knowledge of industry standard tools like Adobe Suite and Figma
- Drive to learn and continuously improve
- Proactive team spirit
- Last but not least - a genuine interest in tech, product development, and design
